New Features

  • Breaking News Preview and Live-Stream selection. Interrupt current rundown with a custom breaking news live stream. Also available via API.
  • HLS Single and Multi-Bitrate stream creation, including splice point insertion and m3u8 manipulation for DAI (Cue out/in from internal ad triggers)
  • Downstream Key GRFX Overlay from Website Sources (HTML/HTML5) like Singular.live or CasparCG.
  • RTMP buffer configuration for remotely pulled live streams.
  • Ability to cancel running ad-break and enable automatic cancel on element change (SCTE trigger only).
  • Ability to copy / paste whole days in calendar view. More granular pasting options in calendar view.

  • [Bugfix] Range-select over sub-playlist item would select all sub-items as well. A copy&paste operation would then copy and paste the sub-playlist including all sub-items and all sub-items as single items additionally
  • [Bugfix] A looped sub-playlist as only item in the rundown would stop playback after the last sub-item had been played

Known Issues and/or Limitations

MPEG-TS Muxing Overhead

Because of vbv-buffer compatibility the muxer overhead is set to 80%. This result of this is an overall increased bitrate of 80%, in regards to the configured video bitrate within LTN-Schedule transcoding settings. For example: 10MBit configured within the Schedule UI will result in 18MBit MPEG-TS muxed stream output on the actual MPEG-TS Output (SRT). RTMP and HLS Targets are not affected by that. LTN continues improving this component to reduce the overhead in upcoming updates.
Deletion of rundown elements Deleting more than 2000 assets in the rundown at once does not work.
Starting Playback during an ad-break issue

Starting Playback during an ad-break can cause the current video element to skip to the next one too early when the backup video is overall shorter than the ad-break itself.
Control View

Control View is currently not fully functioning
