Create transfer targets

Prepare

The configuration of a FTP or SFTP transfer target requires a hostname, protocol, port, username, password, and path.

Example of a hostname:

my.ftpserver.com

Protocol:

FTP
SFTP

Example of a port:

21
22

Username:

myFTPuser

Example of a password:

S@C5#$Xn?T($'RN.

Example of a path:

/

/folder1/folder2/etc/

Configure a transfer target

To create a new transfer target:

1. Click on your team name.
   
2. Click on "Transfer Targets".
   
3. In the left sidebar, in the top right corner, click the "Add" button.
   
4. Select "Add Transfer Target".
   

In the dialog:

1. 1. Type in a name.
   2. Enter your hostname.
   3. Select FTP or SFTP as protocol.
   4. Enter a port.
   5. Enter the username.
   6. Enter the related password.
   7. Enter the desired path.
   8. Hit the “Create” or "Save" button in the bottom right corner.

Edit existing transfer targets

To edit an existing transfer target:

1. Click on your team name.
   
2. Click on "Transfer Targets".
   
3. Select the transfer target you want to reconfigure.
   
4. In the inspector on the right side, in the top right corner, click on "Edit".
