About: Recordings of live signals are called assets in Live Video Cloud. Assets can be transferred to FTP or SFTP transfer targets. Transferred assets will use the original ingest format wrapped in a TS container.
Transfer a complete asset
To quickly transfer a complete asset:
- Go to assets.
- Make sure you have list view selected.
- Click transfer on the asset.
- Select the transfer target.
Hint: When starting a transfer for an on-going recording, Live Video Cloud will provide a segment with all the content that has been recorded so far. Recordings are typically around 10-20 seconds behind the live content.
Transfer a segment of an asset
To transfer only a specific part of an asset:
- Go to the trim view of your asset.
- Set the trim points by moving the start and end points via drag and drop or enter the time codes into the timecode input fields at the bottom left.
- Select your transfer target.
- Click transfer.
Hint: The set trim points and actual exported start and end points of a segment may differ by up to 5-10 seconds.
The transfer job will start immediately.
