About: Part of the Graphical Overlay feature. In general templates are configured outside of Schedule and the main html structure is being build with an editor. To see how this is being done, please view the documentation from SPX & the SPX template definition.
This article covers parameters that can be changed in order to work inside Schedule.
Configure a template
After uploading a template, it can be configured in the Manage Template dialog.
From there click the expand button (1) on the template, which shows you more details.
In the expanded view you can change the following things:
- Download template (2): Lets you download the uploaded template in order to edit the html file or share it with another system.
- Title (3): The name of the template shown in the template rundown.
- Layer order (4): The hierarchical order of the template in relation to other templates. Only one template can be on the same position at the same time. Giving a template a layer order that is already being used will only show the new template. Possible range is 1 - 20.
-
Stop animation (5): This parameter controls how and when a graphic overlay is removed from the live output after being activated.
The stop animation parameter accepts the following values:
- manual (default): The graphic remains on-air until the operator manually presses the STOP button to trigger the out-animation, giving full control over timing.
- none: The template plays only without an out-animation, suitable for bumpers, wipes, or other graphics that don't require an exit transition. (In this mode the play button will not change to STOP)
- [numeric value]: A time value in milliseconds that automatically triggers the STOP command after the specified duration, causing the graphic to animate out.
