Graphics - Using templates

About: Part of the Graphical Overlay feature. Upload a new template to the Schedule system to use it within the rundown.

Interface areas

There are three main interface areas:

  1. Templates rundown
    Shows currently added templates. The templates can the played and stopped from here and data fields can be edited.
  2. Preview
    Area to preview a template by clicking on it.
  3. Output PGM
    This shows the actual output from Schedule and the real-time use of graphical overlays (on-air). 

 

 

 

Template actions

On a template in the rundown, the following actions can be taken:

  1. Drag handle: Allows to change order in the rundown by drag'n drop.
  2. Delete: Remove the template from the rundown. It still remains in the Manage templates dialog and can be re-added to the rundown.
  3. Duplicate: Duplicates the template with identical settings.
  4. Play/Stop: Activating/Deactivating the template on the live output of Schedule.
  5. Expand/Collapse: Opens the template to make changes to the fields.
  6. Layer order: Shows layer order and can be changed by clicking on it.
  7. Stop animation: Displays stop animation and can be changed by clicking on it.
  8. Update: Update the template on the live output with the recent changes.
  9. Save & Close: Saves any changes and closes the template. The live output will not be affected until the template is being stop and played again.
