About: Personal notes are comments, that can be added to a playlist element to communicate between users. There can be several notes on one element to drive conversation or to add a bit of context.
Overview
The Note Feature allows users to add, view, and manage notes directly on playlist assets. Notes can be shared among users, providing a convenient way to communicate important information or instructions related to specific playlist elements. This feature ensures notes remain visible during playback and are retained in the history for reference.
Adding a Note
- How to Add a Note:
- Right-click on a playlist element and select Add note from the context menu.
- A dialog will appear, allowing you to input your note message (e.g., "Once this is over, switch to that source...").
- Once you are done, click Save note.
Viewing Notes
- Note Icon:
- Playlist elements with notes display a note icon and a number indicating the total number of notes.
- Click the note icon to open a popup displaying the notes.
Deleting Notes

- Open the note and click the Delete icon next to it to remove the note.
- All notes can be deleted by all users.
Hint: Notes remain attached to playlist elements in the history, even after the element has been played, however they are not being exported e.g. when the affected elements are being used in templates
