About: Some input types generate configuration information like URL, hostname, or stream key. This information is necessary to configure your external source to ingest to the correct Live Video Cloud endpoint.
Live Video Cloud generates configuration credentials for the following input types:
- RTMP push
- SRT listener
- Streamtag with enabled web contribution
Where to find generated credentials?
Option A: Inspector, signal flyout
- Go to inputs.
- Select your input with a left-click.
- Take a look at the inspector on the right-hand side of your browser.
- Select the signal object and the flyout will open which shows the generated credentials. Stream keys are initially hidden and become visible after clicking on the "Reveal" button.
- Copy credentials with the "Copy" button.
Option B: Edit dialog
- Go to inputs.
- Place your cursor over the element you want to get credentials of and click the appearing "Edit" button.
- Or left-click on the element and click on the "Edit" button in the inspector in the upper right corner.
- Generated credentials are displayed in the configuration section.
- Copy credentials with the "Copy" button.
Option C: Flyouts
An input that is already assigned to a production is displayed and accessible via the production's inspector.
- Go to productions.
- Select a production the input is assigned to.
- In the inspector, in the inputs section, left-click on your input.
- Generated credentials are displayed in the opened flyout. Stream keys are initially hidden and become visible after clicking on the "Reveal" button.
- Copy credentials with the "Copy" button.
