About: Upload video files directly from your browser.
Hint: The file size is limited to 10GB using the media upload via your browser. Adding XML files is not supported by the browser upload. Use SFTP instead. LTN Schedule supports any H.264 encoded footage using an MP4, MXF or TS container. H.265/HEVC support is limited - please test your H.265/HEVC flavor before using those media assets in production.
Since version 9.8+ more file formats (extensions) are supported: .mkv, flv, .mov, .mpg, .mpeg, .m2v, .avi. As those containers (especially avi and mov) can contain plenty of codec flavors we strongly recommend to test the general compatibility of your general input file type before using it in production.

Upload media via your browser
To upload video files via your browser:
- Go to "Media uploader & Importer" in the top navigation.
Optionally, add custom fields to be added to your imported files as metadata. After upload you can filter the library based on the added custom fields or check their usage within "as-run" reports:
- Search and select a custom field.
- Display of the selected field.
- Enter a value.
- Remove a custom field.
Continue by selecting files and starting the upload process:
- Choose file(s): Select files accessible to your local machine to upload them.
- Upload media: Start the upload process.
- In progress, Queued, Failed: See the current status of your uploads.
- Message log: See success and error messages.
Hint: Keep the browser tab open until the uploads have finished or failed. Closing the tab or browser will abort ongoing uploads. You can work in other areas of LTN Schedule while uploading media files in the background.
Once your upload has been completed, the uploaded files are available in the library.
