About: Recordings of live signals are called assets in Live Video Cloud. Assets can be downloaded to local machines. Downloaded assets will use the original ingest format wrapped in a TS container.
Download a complete asset
To quickly download a complete asset:
- Go to assets.
- Make sure you have list view selected.
- Click download on the asset.
Hint: When starting a download for an on-going recording, Live Video Cloud will provide a segment with all the content that has been recorded so far. Recordings are typically around 10-20 seconds behind the live content.
Download a segment of an asset
To download only a specific part of an asset:
- Open an asset.
- Set the trim points by moving the start and end points via drag and drop or entering the time codes into the timecode input fields at the bottom left. Leave it as it is if you want to download the whole recording.
- Click download.
Hint: The set trim points and actual exported start and end points of a segment may differ by up to 5-10 seconds.
Your browser will start downloading immediately. The duration of your download depends on the file size.
