About: If your live stream is not functioning properly, you can add a failover stream as a backup. This failover stream will be used automatically if the primary stream is not working.
A failover live stream can be configured for the following types:
- SRT listener
- RTMP Push
- UDP

Configure failover live stream
To configure a failover live stream open the live stream edit dialog and:
- Activate the Configure failover stream switch.
- Fill out the information for the failover stream.
Once set up the failover stream information is also displayed in the inspector.

If a live stream has a failover stream configured it will be visible on the playlist element (3) as well as the status of it.
The status is also visible in the inspector (4) with the possibility to switch the preview between the failover and normal live stream.
Process in case of stream failing
- Primary input stream fails --> LTN Schedule will switch to the secondary input stream.
- Schedule stays at the secondary input stream, even if the primary stream comes back.
- Secondary input fails --> LTN Schedule will switch to the primary input stream.
- Both input streams are not available --> LTN Schedule will show the configured backup source (video or live-stream).
