Use live stream as re-run
To enable the re-run, click on the re-run button of the live stream object within the LTN Schedule rundown.
Once this is done, another re-run element is displayed under the live stream element. The element is scheduled for the same duration as the actual live stream parent element is scheduled. If the live stream is skipped before the scheduled duration, also the re-run element's duration is adjusted.
Re-run states
1. The re-run element has been created from a live stream.
2. The re-run sits in the queue ready to record the live stream. The red status signals, that there has been no recording so far and the re-run element is not filled yet due to the ongoing live stream.
3. Immediately after the livestream element ends (or is skipped by the operator) the preparing process starts. This takes about 1-3 seconds and is indicated by a yellow color of the linked re-run element(s).
4. The re-run has successfully been filled with the recording of the live stream and is being played back as a normal video asset.
You can also create multiple re-run objects from one live stream. Also, it’s possible to loop re-run elements until a specific time & date - like it can be done with any other on-demand media.
Once you delete a scheduled live stream that has re-runs configured, also all the re-run objects are deleted.
Use another live stream as source for the re-run
To change the re-run from using the live stream element it has been created from as a source, you can also assign a new live stream in the edit dialog that is present in the playlist to be used for recording.
Use overlays on re-runs
Re-runs also support the possibility to use Graphical Overlays.
