About: You can manually update your Schedule system to the latest version once an update is available.
You need to have admin rights to execute the update. The update button will also be visible for other user types - but execution of the update will only be possible for admins.
During the update process, the system will temporarily be not available for a time of 5 up to 30 minutes depending on the update's size. Publishing will be stopped for the update process and resumed automatically after the update has been finished.
See if an update is available
When a new update is available, the maintenance button in the footer will be marked with a blue dot. To see more information about the update, click the maintenance button to open the maintenance menu.
Start the update
To perform an update to the latest version:
- Inside the maintenance menu, click on "Update system".
In the appearing dialog:
- Click on the blue version number to see all changes included in the latest update.
- Press "Update now" to start the system update.
The system will become unavailable and you will see the update screen with:
- A progress bar including a timer that shows the time since the start of the update.
- A link to the LTN support where you can submit a support ticket in case the update takes longer than 30 minutes.
When the update has finished you will see the success screen:
- Click on the blue version number to see the changelog.
- Click "Continue" to get back to the login screen.
The system is now updated and you can see the new version number in the bottom left corner.
