About: Facebook destinations allow distributing a signal via RTMP. If used as part of a transcoded output with multiple qualities, the destination will only include one quality. In difference to RTMP push destinations, Facebook destinations talk directly to Facebook's API to get the correct ingest credentials.

Prepare
→ Configure a connected account for Facebook.
The connected Facebook account relates to a single user and therewith this user's access rights to different pages, as well as his personal page.
Hint: It is only possible to publish live streams on Facebook pages and personal timelines. For further information please refer to Facebook's documentation.
Configure a Facebook destination
To configure your destinations:
- Go to "Destinations".
- Press "Add Destination".
- Select "Facebook".
In the expanded panel:
- Enter a name.
- Only for transcoded outputs: Assign a quality.
- As "Connected Account" select a Facebook account.
- As "Destination", choose a page this user has access to, on which you want to publish your live stream.
- (Optional) Add a delay to your signal distribution.
- (Optional) Set up stream mapping overrides.
