About: In order to use productions to ingest, preview, and distribute live signals, productions need to be turned on. Turning on a production starts required engines. Depending on your contract, starting engines may create additional costs. When and what kind of engines have been started can be analyzed in the system usage section.

Turn on productions
To turn on a production:
- Go to productions.
- Select the production you want to turn on.
- Click on "Turn on" in the inspector on the right.
Turning on a production initiates starts all assigned inputs, outputs, and multiview engines. Inputs will become ready to receive a signal and record ingested signals. Outputs will become ready to process and distribute routed signals. The starting process takes several minutes but should not take longer than 15-20 minutes.
Turn off productions
To turn off a production:
- Go to productions.
- Select the running production you want to turn off.
- Click on "Turn off" in the inspector on the right.
Turning off a production immediately stops all input, output, and multiview engines. Ingest and distribution connections will break, recordings will stop, and multiview preview will stop being available.
