About
When enabled, Status Timeline replaces static status LEDs with a historic timeline bar, giving you an instant view of stream health history.

Overview
Using Status LED Only will give you a status dot that reflects the current state of an endpoint. There is no way to see whether a problem just started, has been ongoing, or is already recovering.
Status Timeline improves the monitoring situation by replacing the dot with a horizontal bar showing the last hour of status history making any changes in status clearly visible. A circle on the right end of the bar still shows the current live status.
How to Enable or Disable Status Timeline
Status Timeline is enabled by default. You can turn them off from your profile settings.
- Click your user icon in the top-right corner of Portal.
- Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu.
- In the Settings section, find the Status Display option.
- Select "Status Timeline" to enable it, or "Status LED Only" to return to the standard status dot.
- Click "Submit" to save.
How to Use Status Timeline
- Open a supported Portal view (see Where Status Timeline is being used below).
- Find the entity row and view its stripe bar to assess recent stream health. Colors reflect status over the past hour.
- Clicking on the name area (1) will open the details modal of that entity.
- Clicking on the copy button (2) next to the name will copy the name to the clipboard.
- Clicking the timeline bar (3) will open the context menu with available actions for that entity.
What you can do from the timeline context menu
Clicking a status stripe opens a context menu with actions specific to that entity and endpoint type. Available options depend on your permissions, the entity type, and the channel configuration. Unavailable options are hidden or disabled.
For a Booking (Source column), you may see:
- (1) Endpoint details — Opens the Leaf information modal (e.g., ltnp-fra-a-connector1-e5)
- (2) Source video preview — Opens the Leaf modal with video preview (Source only; hidden for Destination, as the Leaf modal has no video preview)
- (3) Source monitoring — Opens the Grafana dashboard (available if your channel has a probe and you have the ENHANCED_MONITORING permission)
- (4) Channel stats — Same as in the channel modal (available if your channel has "full access")
- (5) Channel alarms — Same as in the channel modal
- (6) Connector stats — Available if your channel has a connector leaf
- (7) Feed report — Same as in the booking modal
- (8) Source last mile stats — Available if your channel has an INGEST site ("Site stats" in the channel modal)
Note: Not all options appear for every entity. What you see depends on whether you're viewing a source or destination, your permissions, and your channel configuration.
