About: RTMP pull resource location allows pulling a signal from Live Video Cloud via RTMP. If used as part of a transcoded output with multiple qualities, the RTMP pull resource location will only include the "Main" (highest) quality.

Configure an RTMP pull resource location
Each output comes with one RTMP pull resource location.
To adjust or view the configuration your resource location:
- Go to "Resource Locations".
- Click on "RTMP Pull" to expand the panel if not expanded already.
In the expanded panel:
- Copy the hostname once the output has been saved.
- Copy the stream key once the output has been saved.
- (Optional) Set up stream mapping overrides.

Configure your external receiver
Save the output to generate required credentials. Use the generated hostname and stream key to configure your external receiver.

Format of a hostname:
rtmp://pull-{identifier}.outgest.live/pull/
Example of a stream key:
