About: You can manually restart your Schedule system via the UI.
You need to have admin rights to execute the restart. The restart button will also be visible for other user types - but execution of the restart will only be possible for admins.
During the restart process, the system will temporarily be not available for a time of up to 3 minutes. Publishing will be stopped for the restart process and resumed automatically after the restart has been finished.
Restart option in the maintenance menu
The restart option can be found in the maintenance menu (1), directly beside the version number in the Schedule footer.
Start the restart
To start the restart:
- Click on "Restart system" in the maintenance menu.
In the appearing dialog:
- Press "Restart now" to start the system restart.
The system will become unavailable and you will see the restart screen with:
- A progress bar including a timer that shows the time since the start of the restart.
- A link to the LTN support where you can submit a support ticket in case the restart takes longer than 3 minutes.
When the restart has finished the UI will return to the login screen.
